Coonley's Beta Club is up and running again!!!! Our first fundraiser this year is to support those that have been hit hard in Hurricane's Harvey and Irma. The money collected will be going to the Red Cross and/or gift cards to schools in need. Please understand that our donations provide critical supplies, such as food, water, school supplies and other needs for hundreds of communities devastated by these storms.
Teachers will be collecting donations Monday, Sept. 25th through Tuesday, Oct. 31st.

She's touring for the second book in the Horizon series: Deadzone. Synopsis: Deadzone New York Times bestselling author Jennifer A. Nielsen joins the race for survival! The survivors have made it out of the jungle, but they may be sorry they ever left when they stumble upon a whole new ecosystem, populated with entirely new threats. And the greatest threat of all may come from within. Because one of the kids is changing... The seven-book series begun by #1 New York Times bestseller Scott Westerfeld only gets bigger and bolder under the frenzied imagination of bestselling, critically acclaimed author Jennifer A. Nielsen! Bio: Jennifer A. Nielsen is the acclaimed author of the New York Times and USA Today bestselling Ascendance Trilogy: The False Prince, The Runaway King, and The Shadow Throne. She also wrote the Mark of the Thief trilogy: Mark of the Thief, Rise of the Wolf, and Wrath of the Storm; the standalone fantasy The Scourge; the historical thriller A Night Divided; and Book Six of the Infinity Ring series, Behind Enemy Lines. Jennifer lives in northern Utah with her husband, their three children, and a perpetually muddy dog. Praise for Book 1 in the Horizon series: “The fast-paced action and mystery … should keep readers glued to this book and eager for the next one, due in fall 2017 from Jennifer A. Nielsen.” -Publishers Weekly “The setting is effectively developed, with a threat level that's high enough for effective suspense but not too gruesome, and the characters provide many points of entry for a broad spectrum of readers. A solid popcorn adventure.” -Kirkus Reviews
