Today in Ms. Beecher's Science Class:
Today rooms 317, 216, and 312 each participated in different team building activities. We discussed why scientists may find working in small groups advantageous. Room 317 worked in small groups to build structures out of straws. These structures needed to be able to catch a golf ball dropped from about 4 feet, we used Kathleen as our measuring stick! Rooms 216 and 312 worked in small groups to build cup pyramids without using their hands! In all three classes each student was asked to answer the question of the day and the reflection question. We also turned in a group plan and reflection sheet. Question of the day:Why may scientists find it advantageous to work in small groups when conducting an experiment? Reflection question: Did working in a small group make it easier or harder to reach the goal?
